About Us

The idea of Ruby Rose Lane came to life in the fall of 2019 after having received a bouquet of a dozen beautiful, velvety-soft, red roses (my favorite flower) from my husband, the man that stole my heart many moons ago.  As for me, I'm a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and a kindergarten teacher who happened to have a day off and, while enjoying my quiet day of solace, I found myself staring at these roses thinking what a gem my husband was for being so unwavering in his love and support of "teacher life".  I became nostalgic at that point thinking about all of the individuals who are gems and/or roses in my lane.  We all have them, gems and roses that is, in our lives, those people we love, cherish and care for.  The most important gem in my life happens to have a ruby as his birthstone, hence the name Ruby Rose Lane.
